With her primary focus on Family Law, Anastasia Leininger is here to help in matters of divorce and post-divorce, paternity, child support, separation, third-party and grandparent visitation, Department of Children and Family Services actions, as well as Child in Need of Care actions. She brings her passion and dedication to helping children and families to CornerStone Law and, while still a newer attorney, she has experience in high-conflict custody disputes as well as divorces involving highly values assets.

Growing up outside of the Kansas City area, she received her B.A. in Journalism from Benedictine College in only 2.5 years. After college she served as a group home mother, caring for children in both the Denver and Lubbock areas. During this time she also wrote marketing and literature materials for these organizations. Her experience with serving children and families inspired her to attend law school in order to more effectively help families, which makes it no surprise that she chose Family Law as her area of practice.

Anastasia graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 2016 with Dean's Honors. During her time at Washburn, she continued her passion for aiding families and was highly involved in the Child and Family Law Center, serving as a director on the Child and Family Law Center board as she received a law certificate in Family Law. She was also active in the Child and Family Law Center Clinic, which allowed her to work real cases while still pursuing her law degree.

Anastasia's experiences in caring for extremely abused and neglected children and helping families through very difficult life situations influences every area of her practice today. She strives for her clients to come to a fair, just, and equitable result for all parties involved, while also considering the best interests of the children. Ultimately, she seeks to provide a peaceful resolution to an otherwise tumultuous situation. If peaceful approaches don’t work, however, Anastasia is not afraid to pick up her boxing gloves and fight for the rights of her clients.

Being involved in a family law matter can be one of the worst experiences of your life – and Anastasia knows that. For this reason, she works hard every day to ease the lives of her clients and guide them through the process while lessening the difficulty that can be placed on any children involved.
