Victoria’s passion for the law is derived from her life-long passion for individuals with disabilities and their families. Victoria has worked with individuals with disabilities through organizations such as The ARC of Sedgwick County, Circle of Friends, Special Olympics, and Laughing Feet performers. Victoria served as a paraprofessional for high school students with disabilities while completing her undergraduate degree. While in college, Victoria also worked with a little girl with disabilities after school who was in the foster care system. Victoria and the little girl instantly bonded, and a few short months later, Victoria’s parents began the process to adopt the little girl and her brother. Victoria’s adopted siblings, and her family’s unique experience with the foster care system and adoption, ignited her passion for adoption law. Victoria strives to use both her personal and professional understanding of the adoption process to guide her clients through the adoption process.
Victoria attended Wichita State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in political science. While at Wichita State, Victoria served as the President of Foundation for Delta Gamma Fraternity, a Senator for the Student Government Association Liberal Arts, and a WSU Student Ambassador.
Victoria then attended Washburn University School of Law, where she graduated with Dean’s Honors, Distinguished Pro Bono Honors, and a Certificate in Child and Family Law. During law school, Victoria served as a Child and Family Law Center Student Director, the President of the Washburn Law Pro Bono Society, and a Senior Editor for the Family Law Quarterly.
During her free time, Victoria enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Dustin, and their pug, Bash. She loves spending time outdoors and cheering on the Wichita State Shockers. Victoria also enjoys volunteering with her siblings, specifically for Laughing Feet Performers, a theater company for individuals with disabilities.
