Currently working as an Associate Attorney at CornerStone Law, LLC in the areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law, Whitney Bolden also takes court-appointed cases from Marion County, Kansas. These include Child in Need of Care cases, Guardian ad Litem appointments and criminal defense. Her current position includes all standard duties of an active attorney.

Whitney worked for the first year of her career for the State of Missouri 24th Judicial Circuit - Juvenile Division. This position was a hybrid of civil and criminal law. On the criminal side, she prosecuted juvenile delinquents. The civil side of the position included work with different agencies to ensure the safety and permanency of abused and neglected children within the four counties the 24th Circuit covers. Additionally, she performed contract work as a Guardian ad Litem in different cases, especially adoption and guardianship cases.

In September 2016, Whitney was admitted to the Missouri Bar, followed by the Kansas Bar in September 2017.

Whitney received her Juris Doctor degree in May of 2016 from the Washburn University School of Law. While at Washburn she received specialized education in Family Law and Local Government Law. She was able to actively practice with her Legal Student Practicing License granted by the Kansas Supreme Court, under Rule 719. In Spring 2016, she was actively engaged in the Washburn Law Clinic in the area of Civil and Family Law.

During her second and third year of law school, she worked as the legal intern for the Shawnee County Counselor's Office. This position entailed working with Bond Forfeitures, the Kansas Tax Code, Zoning and Planning Violations, Soil Erosion Violations, Nuisance Violations, Workers' Compensation cases, Contract review and formation, and plaintiff’s work in a products liability suit.

Outside of work, Whitney enjoys playing on the local softball team, trivia, disc golf, and trail runs with her labradoodle, Daisy.
